When you choose a Timberwood entryway you are looking for a statement that welcomes people to your home and property. Made from best quality Australian Iron Bark, the posts are dressed, squared and sanded (rough sawn surface made smooth to expose the classic Iron Bark grain) in our well-established Timberwood workshop. The posts are then mortised to house the rails and then champhered. The rails are also dressed and champhered. This operation results in a beautiful smooth finish which is then oiled twice to protect the integrity and life of the timber. Protection is also given by using galvanised steel post caps which are locally made.
